Tenco is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Drug Repackager/Relabeler, and for packaging of dietary supplements. Tenco also maintains licensure with the Pennsylvania Department of Health for the packaging of OTC and prescription drugs.
Tenco maintains compliance with the following FDA regulations:
- FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) in Manufacturing, Processing, Packing, or Holding of Drugs (21 CFR Part 210)
- FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements

FAQ's
Do you do product filling?
Product filling (such as filling empty bottles with medication) is a primary packaging function. Tenco is a secondary and tertiary packaging company. We receive the pre-filled products from our customers and perform secondary packaging functions, such as placing them in cartons, shrink banding them together, blister carding, or assembling promotional displays
What are your Quality Control measures?
Tenco is registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Pennsylvania State Department of Health, and we follow their guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practices. During production, we perform routine quality control inspections at the assembly line and will complete Master Batch Records to ensure traceability, accuracy, quality and inventory. Do you package private label products?
Yes. In fact, we are a good option for smaller start-ups or private label companies. Because of our multi-faceted and flexible capabilities, we can often provide personal, efficient support to small batch, private label companies.
What is your turn-around time?
Turn-around time for any project depends on the size and scope of the project, our current production schedule, and the delivery time of the product and components. Quite often, once the packaging agreement has been established and we receive components for a project, we can begin work within two weeks. We pride ourselves on being responsive and make every effort to address projects in a timely manner.
