Our principal management team has 95 years of combined experience. We continually operate in our customers’ best interests with unwavering dedication.  With our technical expertise and capabilities, comprehensive experience, and attention to detail, we consistently meet their contract packaging and fulfillment needs.

At Tenco, we promise and deliver a complete organizational commitment to quality, service, and reliability.

Some of our key features include the following:

Tenco’s comprehensive QA Program is designed to ensure quality results that comply with all customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and FDA cGMP practices. Your project will be completed right the first time and your packaging will look great when it is in your customers’ hands.

Tenco has a history of successfully planning an efficient production process.  We are experts in all phases of secondary and promotional packaging. This includes the proven ability to resourcefully manage project challenges as they occur, and to efficiently manage project labor, equipment, and control requirements. The result is quicker, smoother start-ups, shorter lead times, and lower operating costs.

Every day, project managers diligently provide hands-on oversight and have complete knowledge of your project from start to finish. They communicate directly with supervisors when immediate attention or inquiries are needed.  This means you will have peace of mind knowing that paying attention to details — during all phases of your project — is our normal way of doing business.

We work with our customers, listen to your requests, respond rapidly to your needs, and are passionate about getting the job done right.  We are confident you will find us a supplier that is easy to manage so you can spend time on other objectives.  In short, we are committed to your project and your goals.

We provide competitive pricing as a result of controlling costs.  We strive for lower overhead, minimal handling costs for materials, and maintaining an experienced, well-trained, highly efficient workforce. Your bottom line will benefit from our efficiency and ability to provide a lower cost solution for top-notch service, quality, and commitment to deadlines.

Extraordinary Service

No company in the contract packaging industry is more attuned to customer service than Tenco. From the very first day of our existence, we have been committed to satisfying our customers. We take pride in our work and our results. Once you get to know us and how we do business, you will feel confident calling us the next time a project comes up.

We always try to anticipate problems and prepare for them before a job begins, but when something unexpected occurs, we’re very resourceful. Nothing really stops us. That’s why we always make every commitment.

For example, every cartoning machine in the industry is set up to emboss the lot number and expiration date on the bottom of the carton. A client once sent us thousands of cartons that were printed with the embossed area on the top. The client’s quality assurance people had missed the error, and the product launch was fast approaching. Within one day we rigged a mechanical change to our equipment, tied the embosser into the gears, altered the phase, and reversed all the embossing heads. The client lost no time, and Tenco didn’t charge them a dime extra.

That’s the kind of commitment and extraordinary service we provide. We just do things like that. We solve the problem and get the job done. On time. Regardless of what it takes. And with no up-charges to the customer.

You may call that “extraordinary,” but at Tenco Assemblies, it’s simply how we do business.

When faced with a challenging task, flexibility can be a critical component of success.

You know the scenario: Marketing comes up with an innovative promotion – a bonus pack, two-for-one, or a special premium – and it’s your job to get it packaged and delivered. The goal may be a tube of this packaged with a box of that. Or a bonus pack with a BOGO promotion. Or it may be a sample kit that highlights a new product line. Whatever it is, your team is relying on you to get it done right, efficiently, and on time. You’re going to need a contract packager that is both flexible and innovative; you’re going to need Tenco Assemblies.

Challenge 1:

The client wanted a package that included a molded plastic tray with a slot for an audio cassette, the product, a literature booklet, and a box to hold the assembly. It was a product launch and they needed us to produce 80,000 units a day for three months. Working with the client, and relying on our experience and know-how, Tenco had a special machine designed and built for that specific job. And we got the packaging job done on time and on budget.

Challenge 2:

The client had 500,000 bottles of its new shampoo for an approaching product launch. But an unacceptable percentage of the bottle tops would either pop open or come off altogether.  Tenco performed a 100% inspection of all half-million bottles and applied over-label closure labels. We got the call on Monday, and by Wednesday, we were over-labeling 25,000 units a day. We kept the pipeline going and the client met its launch date.

Challenge 3:

It was a combo pack promotion, and the operations department realized the sales projected by the marketing department were unrealistic. So the operations department assumed the demand would be 500,000 fewer units than turned out to be the case. Panic time! If a retailer’s purchase contract calls for delivery on the 29th and you deliver one day late, they can cancel the order. Millions of dollars were at stake. But Tenco Assemblies rallied: Within two days we were running two lines, 10 hours a day, six days a week. We got the job done in two weeks. The client was relieved. “You really saved us,” he said, “Big time!”
