Tenco has been committed to quality since Day One of our operations. Our Quality System is a formalization of our consistent effort to ensure that all product that leaves our facility meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.
Our quality system is fully compliant with FDA regulations.
Key highlights of our quality system are:
- Standard Operating Procedures Manual
- Comprehensive Training Program
- Equipment Validation
- Equipment Maintenance Program
- Packaging Line Validation
- Incoming Material Inspection
- ANSI-Based In-Process Sampling
- Product Reconciliation
- Printed Materials Reconciliation
- Final Review and Release
Our quality system enables us to maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements mandated for handling over-the-counter and prescription products. We are currently registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), PA State Department of Health, and the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). Our DEA registration covers Chemical Handling requirements for products that contain pseudoephedrine.
More important than agency registration is the Total Quality mindset instilled in all our employees. From managers to supervisors to assembly line personnel, each person treats the products we handle as their own. Everyone is empowered to reject any item they don’t feel is correct and raise the question to a supervisor or manager. We pride ourselves in maintaining a high-quality standard in all we do, producing items we are proud of when we see them on the store shelves.
